You’re a person with “zest for life” and you don’t want to miss out on an adventure whilst on holiday? Then you should head for Flachau. On the mountain cart tour you head up wards comfortably on the bus, where a short introduction awaits your group. Whilst the first run down is somewhat gentle, as the guide explains all the key passages, you can thereafter determine your speed yourself and whizz down the run to the valley at a faster pace. Once back down in the valley a number of other exciting fun sports await you – it’s worth taking a look at the online activity planner.
Behind every favourite song there’s bound to be a story – why not discover a new (traditional) favourite “song”, which in years to come will remind you of your holiday and the great hikes in Salzburger Sportwelt at the “Music at the Alpine Huts“ (every Wednesday from 12:00 to 3:00 pm) in Wagrain-Kleinar?Doesn’t just sound good – tastes good too! As in addition to traditional live music a wealth of regional, culinary delicacies await visitors – mhhhh!
According to the motto “heartily friendly“ the JoKiWo (St. Johann Kids’ Week) takes place this year for the first time in St. Johann in Salzburg. From 13th to 19th July 2019 above all the youngest guests can look forward to a varied activity programme, including a performance of “Peter and the Wolf“ by the Philharmonic Salzburg, the talented storyteller, Max Steiner, who bewitches the children with his fairy tales on the Ghost Mountain, a puppet theatre in the Town Park and a shopping day for families, all of which guarantee to make the heart of every child, and of course their parents, beat faster.
The Radstadt Arts & Crafts Market counts amongst one of the most important arts & crafts markets in Austria and entices numerous artisans, handicraft experts and designers to the historic old town every year on the first weekend in September. In addition to a colourful selection of unique handicrafts made of glass, wool, felt and wooden you’ll also find imaginative and original street theatre, walking acts, ring games and a variety of street musicians. A great tip, therefore, for all those looking for inspiration, entertainment and good food!
Last year as part of our colleauges’ get-together we ourselves took part in the culinary walk, and I can therefore personally recommend the culinary get-togethers in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee. Incorporated into a gentle walk through the town or a speedy e-bike tour in Altenmarkt’s mountains, you not only get to know the resort from all sides, but you can also look forward to tasty starters, main courses and desserts at the different refreshment stops along the way. And who knows, sometimes at (culinary) get-togethers, new acquaintances or even friends can be found.
The new KITIWAPF (Kinder (kids) – Tiere (animals) – Wanderpfad (hiking trail)) in Eben im Pongau counts as the hiking insider tip for the whole family. On the way up to the Moosalm or the Reitlehenalm in Altenmarkt/Eben there are not just lots of curious animals to be found, whose (stamp) trail you have to collect along the length of the gentle walk. Afterwards with their full stamp booklets and solved adventure puzzle, young (and old) can look forward to a small surprise at the Moosalm or the Reitlehenalm.
Breathe in, breathe out, switch off and return home refreshed and relaxed – that’s what a holiday is all about. Those wishing to say “bye bye“ to their worries and are looking for new strength and positive energy, have come to the right place as here in Filzmoos there are lots of power spots – 17 in total. Accompanied by specially qualified guides you have the opportunity to hike to these very special energy-laden spots and during meditation find your inner peace.
So what are you waiting for? ON TO THE NEXT ADVENTURE and see you soon - in the Salzburger Sportwelt?
